Such a wonderful program

I had a marvellous morning with the ladies at Silai Wali. This was such a bright and welcoming space. I always enjoy spending time hand stitching with a group of women, just as women have done together for millennia, since the needle was invented. It was truly my pleasure to hear the ladies tell me about their lives and to see the beautiful work they do. I also learned a few new stitches too. I would recommend this workshop for anyone interested in embroidery, sustainable textiles or even just other human beings. Well worth it to take a few hours out of your trip or your day to visit Silai Wali. Tashakkor, merci, thank you

I would totally recommend this workshop for anyone who wants to come make a nice souvenir in a very warm and welcoming environment! It was also very interesting to me to see the pricess if making the famous Silaiwali dolls! Thank you Iris, Zoulaikha, David and all the other ladies ! Its has been a memorable experience.
